Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy: Puni Pet Guides explains what information may be collected when readers use punipets.com.

The site publishes informational pet gear guides. It uses analytics and affiliate redirect tracking to operate the site, understand which guides are useful, and keep commercial links accountable.

01

Information collected

Basic technical information may be collected through server logs, analytics tools, and affiliate redirect routes. This can include page URL, referrer, browser or device details, timestamps, and similar operational metadata.

If a reader emails [email protected], the message content, email address, and any source URLs or page URLs included in the message are used to respond and review the reported issue.

02

Analytics and click tracking

The site loads Google Analytics only after a reader chooses Allow analytics. Before that choice, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and affiliate CTA analytics events are not sent. The choice is stored on this device and can be changed with the Privacy choices button.

After consent, the site may send the affiliate_cta_impression and affiliate_cta_click event names with limited guide, offer, merchant, and placement context. Page query strings and reader-supplied values are not included in these analytics dimensions.

The server redirect path records outbound click events for reviewed affiliate offers so broken links, bot traffic, guide performance, and commercial disclosures can be monitored.

03

How information is used

Operational data is used to run the site, diagnose errors, improve guide structure, verify affiliate CTA behavior, detect unusual traffic, and prioritize corrections or source updates.

Contact messages are used only for the reason they were sent, such as a correction, source update, disclosure question, brand inquiry, or privacy question.

04

Reader choices and third parties

Readers can choose Only necessary to keep analytics off, or reopen Privacy choices at any time. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies, limit analytics, or avoid external retailer links. Some site features and measurement may work differently when blockers are enabled.

Amazon, retailers, analytics providers, hosting providers, and email providers may process data under their own policies once a reader uses those services or follows an external link.
